Refund Policy

At Maddison's Jewellers, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a straightforward refund or exchange policy. Please read the following carefully:

Your Right to Cancel:

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason. To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email). To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of Cancellation:

If you cancel your order, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

​

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:

  • 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or

  • (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or  

  • if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel your order.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

Returns Process:

If you wish to return an item, please follow these steps:

  1. Notify us: Inform us of your decision to return the item(s) within 14 days of receipt. You can do this by emailing us at info@maddisonsjewellers.co.uk or by post to 15 Market Place, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV344SA. Please include your order number and the reason for the return (optional, but helpful).

  2. Package securely: Ensure the item(s) are securely packaged, in the original packaging, to prevent damage during transit. Please include all original tags, certificates, free gifts and any accompanying materials.

  3. Return the item(s): You are responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) to us. We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Please send your return to:

Damaged or Faulty Items:

If you receive an item that is damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately (within 5 days of receipt) with details and photographic evidence. We will then provide instructions on how to return the item to us, and we will offer you a refund or a replacement, depending on your preference and stock availability.

Exchanges:

If you wish to exchange an item, within 14 days of receiving your item(s) then please contact us at 01926 492170 to discuss the options. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. You may need to return the original item following the returns process outlined above, and a new order may need to be placed.

Exceptions:

Please note that for hygiene reasons, earrings for pierced ears cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty or not as described. This does not affect your statutory rights.
